KELER CCP provides access to energy market clearing services through the systems of European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC). These services are offered via a General Clearing Member (GCM) model, where KELER CCP acts as the intermediary between the client and ECC.

The onboarding process consists of two key stages:

  1. Market entry via direct registration with ECC
  2. Onboarding with KELER CCP as a General Clearing Member

Checklist and Documentation

The required documentation and submission guidelines are summarised in a downloadable checklist provided by KELER CCP, which includes:

  • documents required by ECC,
  • forms to be submitted to KELER CCP,
  • the process of contracting and technical onboarding.

Important Information

  • The registration with ECC is a standalone process initiated and completed directly by the client with ECC.
  • KELER CCP can only provide clearing services once ECC has approved the client.
  • Technical onboarding (settlement arrangements, reporting interfaces) is coordinated after the agreement is signed.
